100 Years on from the end of the Great War - We shall remember them

Hundreds gathered today at the War Memorial Coatbridge for a Service of Remembrance in honour of the dead of the Great War 100 years on. The service, attended by all denominations, was led by Fr Michael Kane of St Augustine’s Coatbridge & Richard Beattie of the Church of Scotland. Attending also was Scottish Labour Leader Richard Leonard who laid a wreath.
